Position: Inside Parts Sales
Department: Sales
Reports To: Inside Sales Manager

General Description

This front-line customer service position focuses on over the counter sales of replacement and maintenance parts to phone-in, walk-in and internal customers.

Major Job Functions

Assist customers in finding parts as requested.
Provide price quotations to customers on parts.
Process any required paperwork and documentation.
Walk-in and phone-in parts sales.
Up-sell related products as opportunities arise.
Describe product features and benefits to customers as requested.
Follow-up on billing process as needed.
Internal parts processing.

Required Abilities

Strong organizational skills: able to maintain logical filing system for easy access by other employees.
Detail oriented
Able to set priorities for multiple duties.
Able to stay focused and organized while juggling multiple tasks.
Computer literacy.
Customer service skills - able to maintain pleasant rapport with customers, both on the phone and in-person
Demonstrated math skills.
Able to work independently.
Able to adapt and deal with different personalities.
High school diploma + 2 years post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
